Sector Score Examples

You ran the check and got a number back. The next question is always the same one: is that number good, or is it bad? These examples show the sort of spread the seven AISight dimensions produce across different kinds of business, so you can put your own figure in context.

Read this before the tables: every figure below is a worked example, not a measured industry average. We do not publish sector averages yet, because we do not have a large enough sample of real audits to be honest about one — and a made-up average is worse for you than no average. Your real figure comes from scanning your own site.

By industry — example figures

Illustrative only. The Overall column is the plain average of the seven dimension figures beside it. Colours follow the published AISight scale: 70–100 strong, 45–69 room to improve, 0–44 at risk.

By company size — example figures

Illustrative only — the same caveat applies. Each figure is a single worked example, and the Overall column is the average of the three dimensions shown.

Every figure on this page is a worked example drawn to show the range of the AISight scale — none of them come from a client audit, and we would rather tell you that than let you plan around a number we made up. When we have a real sample worth quoting, the averages will appear here with the sample size, the sectors and the date range. Your own figure comes from scanning your own site — run the free audit.
